New builds come with a lot of excitement - and a lot of construction grime. Dust, debris, and residue from the building process have a way of settling into every groove of the siding, and it's not the kind of thing that just blows away on its own. That was exactly the situation here at this stunning home near Elks Golf Course.

The home features lap siding with a wood-grain texture, which looks incredible when it's clean - but that same texture is also really good at trapping dust and construction film. A standard rinse doesn't cut it. We used soft washing to properly break down and lift all of that buildup without any risk of damaging the siding or the surrounding finishes.

What's easy to miss is just how much of the exterior needed attention. Every wall, every corner, every surface that sat exposed during the build collected something. We worked through the whole exterior - including the areas around windows, trim lines, and the lower sections where debris tends to sit heaviest.

The difference in the siding color and clarity after the wash really says it all. The rich tones of the wood-look panels came back to life, and you can actually see the grain detail the way it was meant to look. The large glass panels on the covered deck area cleaned up sharp too, which really ties the whole exterior together.

A proper post-construction clean isn't just about appearances. It protects the investment you've made in the build and sets the home up right from day one. Whether your home just wrapped construction or has simply been sitting through a rough season, a soft wash is one of the best things you can do for the exterior before anything else.
